Cello model "Saveuse" Antonio Stradivari 1726
The top of this "small model" cello is made of European fir tree and the back, sides and neck are made of Balkan curly maple.
At the request of my client, this instrument was personalized in my style.
The arches of the top and back are faceted like leaf veins. The table top has "F"s showing the head of a songbird.
The table top texture has been worked in the style of worn wood by rain and wind.
The personalized horse's head has been sculpted to recall the tables facets.
The back of the scroll has a small relief which evokes the thought freedom and the sea, the mountains and the cosmos by integrating the horse constellation.
The tailpiece has been inspired by the natural shapes.
